Basant Panchami Celebration

Basant Panchami heralds the arrival of the Spring Season and commemorates the birth of Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge, art and music.
On the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami,Saraswati Puja was performed with great reverence at Delhi Public School, Kanpur. To seek the blessings of the Goddess, a Special Assembly was organised for students of Classes X and Xll. Students paid obeisance through rendition of devotional songs, dance and hawan accompanied with the chanting of shlokas.
